Australian Research Council Grant: Uncertainty in the Social Cost of Carbon


Willi Semmler, who leads SCEPA's Economics of Climate Change project, and a diverse team of researchers received a competitive grant from the Australian Research Council (ARC).


Semmler's discovery project, "Uncertainty in the Social Cost of Carbon Dioxide," will take place over the next two years. Semmler's SCEPA project has produced multiple papers on measuring the social cost of carbon.

The ARC provides up to $500,000 each year for discovery projects which will result in the development of new ideas, the creation of jobs, economic growth and an enhanced quality of life in Australia.
