On Thursday, May 28th SCEPA's Retirement Equity Lab (ReLab) and the Economic Policy Institute (EPI) partnered together for a webinar on the harsh economic effects COVID-19 is having on some of our most vulnerable: older workers.

The recent revision of the World Bank’s global poverty estimates based on a new $1.25 (2005 PPP) poverty line underlines their unreliability and lack of meaningfulness.

This report contributes to a broader understanding of elderly poverty by examining the extent of elderly poverty using different poverty measures.
