An International Comparison of the Incomes of the Vast Majority

There are well-known problems with traditional approaches to measuring well-being and the authors introduce a simple alternative.

Income levels and income inequality are two major dimensions of national and international well-being, with GDP per capita as the paramount measure of national income and the Gini coefficient as the central measure of inequality. There are well-known problems with these traditional approaches and the authors introduce a simple alternative that would measure the income per capita of the vast majority of this group in order to better evaluate international inequality.
