Labor Market Discrimination: A Bleak Outlook for Older Women

Older women face worse age discrimination than men in the labor market.

This results in lower pay for older women than for older men, and a more difficult time finding work when unemployed. This short paper outlines why this might be the case and offers an outlook for the future.
